Our patient came to us with a goal of entering her mid-life with renewed confidence while still looking like herself. She experienced concerns regarding heaviness around her eyes, developing jowls, and fullness in her neck. Despite some temporary improvement from Botox, she noted lateral hooding and excess skin above her eyes, as well as puffy under eyes and banding in her neck. After a thorough discussion of her goals — not to look dramatically younger, but to feel comfortable in her own skin — we reviewed a combination of procedures. She chose to undergo a deep plane facelift paired with a brow lift and upper blepharoplasty.

At her six-week post-op visit, mild redness remains at her eyelid incisions, which is normal at this stage of healing. The brow lift has provided subtle elevation, reducing heaviness above her eyes and creating a more rested appearance. Her upper blepharoplasty addressed the redundant eyelid skin, improving her field of vision and smoothing the contour of her upper eyelids. By combining these procedures, we balanced her facial features and addressed her main concerns without overcorrection.
