This patient, a teacher with a busy schedule, first contacted us out of interest in Deep CO2 laser resurfacing. After careful review of our before and after photos, she chose to discuss both a deep plane facelift and eyelid surgery during her consultation. Coordinating her elective procedures around a school break and family events was an important factor in making the timing work for her. She had previously experienced significant weight loss, which contributed to changes throughout her face, including lateral hooding at her brows, excess upper eyelid skin, and a noticeable herniation of fat pads both above and below her eyes. We performed a combination of procedures: brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, deep plane facelift, and Deep CO2 laser treatment. The brow lift addressed drooping along the outer brow, giving a natural elevation without changing the patient’s unique expression. Upper blepharoplasty removed excess skin and addressed fat pad herniation, improving the visual heaviness of her eyelids. Lower blepharoplasty and skin quality treatment helped restore smoothness by addressing both the fat herniation and fine lines under the eyes.
