Our patient came to us feeling dissatisfied with how her eyeliner and mascara appeared on her upper lids. She also experienced some impact on her peripheral vision. Her history of previous eye issues and a prior procedure added to her concerns about heaviness around the eyes.

During our consultation, we noted redundant skin on her upper eyelids and ptosis in the lacrimal band. Together, we determined that an upper blepharoplasty would be an appropriate treatment to reduce excess skin and improve eyelid function. The goal was to help her feel more comfortable with her appearance and to restore a wider, natural-looking visual field.

Post-operatively, we noted significant improvement in her peripheral vision, as well as greater satisfaction with how her makeup applied and appeared.
