Deep Plane Facelift Before & After Case 9

This beautiful patient had a deep plane facelift and deep neck lift with us. 

She was most bothered by her jawline and neckline, but she also felt like the face had just lost its youthful shape.

I find that as the cheeks and jowls begin to fall downward and sink inward, it has a squaring-off effect to the face. I believe it is this squaring effect that we see as aging. The beauty of a deep plane facelift is that it is a technique which completely frees the part of the face that has sagged and brings it back to it’s youthful position in a natural, tension-free way.

In the neck, deeper fat pads, muscles, and saliva glands can blunt the neckline and cause fullness under the jaw. Older styles of surgery are unable to correct these structures and can lead to less than ideal results in the neck. The deep necklift procedure allows us to sculpt these structures and achieve a more desirable neckline.
