Procedures Performed Lip Lift, Rhinoplasty
This patient first came to us interested in a rhinoplasty, feeling both aesthetic and functional concerns following previous nasal trauma. She described her nose as wide, large, and misaligned with a “C” shaped appearance and less definition at the tip. She also experienced possible internal breathing issues, likely related to a deviation of her septum or structural changes from injury. During our consultation, we discussed how a rhinoplasty could address these concerns, as well as her desire for a nose that appeared more refined and harmonious with her facial features.
During our conversation, the patient also brought up concerns about excess skin on her upper eyelids. She shared that her mother had undergone an upper blepharoplasty, so we reviewed her candidacy for the combined procedures. Careful evaluation showed some redundancy in the upper eyelid skin that could benefit from blepharoplasty, which we combined with her nose surgery for optimal results and a single recovery period. You can view her blepharoplasty results in our Upper Blepharoplasty Gallery.
After healing from her rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery, the patient returned to discuss her upper lip, noting it appeared long and lacked shape. Together, we decided that an in-office lip lift would help her achieve a more balanced profile and defined upper lip. The procedures have addressed her initial goals, improving both her facial proportions and nasal function.
At Karter Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery, we are committed to understanding each patient's unique motivations and carefully planning every step of the journey. We are proud to offer rhinoplasties, lip lifts, and upper blepharoplasties combining advanced surgical methods with compassionate care for every patient seeking change.
