Meet Ashley
Ashley is a highly experienced Nurse Injector at Karter Advanced Plastic Surgery with over six years in advanced aesthetic medicine. Her philosophy centers on creating an elevated, polished version of each patient—never overdone, always refined. Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored, prioritizing precision, balance, and natural-looking results.
She specializes in lip and dermal filler artistry, neurotoxin treatments, facial balancing, and advanced medical-grade aesthetic treatments utilizing state-of-the-art technology. Ashley is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of the industry, continuously advancing her education to provide the most modern, safe, and effective aesthetic solutions.
Known for her honest approach, refined aesthetic eye, and meticulous technique, Ashley builds trust through transparency and results. Her goal is simple: to help patients look like the most confident, elevated version of themselves.
Meet Saasha
Saasha is a Clinical Aesthetician with sixteen years of experience in medical skincare. She received her aesthetic certification from the International Institute of Cosmetology and she is certified in Advanced Cosmeceutical Chemistry, Altair Diamondtome Microdermabrasion, Skin Medica, Obagi, Visia advanced skin analysis, Hydrafacial MD, DiamondGlow, microcurrent, and LED light therapies. She also completed advanced training at the International Dermal Institute in Boston with a focus on skin analysis, chemical peels, acne treatments, and all aspects of aging skin. As an expert in clinical skin care, she has appeared on several television, podcast, and vodcast programs.
Her professional passion is to make every patient feel valued and confident in their best skin! She accomplishes this through detailed, bespoke treatment plans, individualized home care routines, and education on the unique aspects of each person’s skin. She values working with Dr. Karter and his team in an environment that demonstrates excellence in every step of the patient journey.
Outside of the office, Saasha enjoys gardening, and hiking with her husband and dog. She also leads a nonprofit organization that provides beauty services for women in need, and volunteers with many Hartford community service projects.
Meet Erin
Erin is a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator, trained extensively by Dr. Nicholas Karter to be able to guide each patient throughout their surgical experience. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve their aesthetic goals while providing compassionate and personalized care.
With a degree in psychology and 7 years of aesthetic experience, she ensures that every individual receives the attention and support they need throughout their journey. The first step in your surgical experience is a complimentary consultation with Erin where she will find out about your goals, go over potential treatment options, discuss downtime, pricing, and even financial options.

Debbie joins Karter Facial Plastic Surgery with extensive nursing experience across multiple specialties, including labor and delivery, surgical nursing, and oncology. With over 20 years of expertise in medical aesthetics, she is known for her exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Debbie is dedicated to helping patients feel confident, informed, and supported throughout their aesthetic journey. Her goal is to deliver an exceptional patient experience while ensuring every individual feels comfortable, cared for, and well-educated about their treatment options.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, daughter-in-law, and future daughter-in-law. She leads an active lifestyle with her family, friends, and dogs, and is always eager for a new adventure or the opportunity to learn a new craft.
Meet Sarah
Sarah is a Front Office Coordinator with over six years of experience in medical and clinical settings. Coming from a background in medical assisting, she is passionate about creating a seamless, welcoming, and patient-centered experience from the first point of contact.
She holds a degree in Physiology and Neurobiology and will be attending medical school in the fall. Sarah is excited to be part of the team and to support patients throughout their care.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her dog Blu and shopping.
Meet Sarina
Sarina is a Receptionist & Surgical Scheduler with 7 years of experience in healthcare administration. Over the years her focus has shifted to wanting to provide a seamless, worry- free patient experience no matter what journey that patient is on.
Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Karter is his dedication to not only using the most advanced techniques to achieve great results, but to educating his patients along the way. Sarina has a degree in English and a genuine love of learning and teaching, no matter the subject. She will be your first point of contact when you step into our office or call to schedule a consultation.
Meet Amanda
Amanda, our Digital Media Manager, brings a thoughtful blend of clinical knowledge and creative strategy to the practice. With a degree in Biology and a background in healthcare, she understands the importance of continuity of care and clear, compassionate communication at every stage of the surgical journey.
Her experience in marketing and business development enables her to create intentional digital and print content that reflects the practice’s values while highlighting each patient’s individual experience, with a strong emphasis on cohesive and consistent branding.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys baking sourdough bread, hiking with her family, and reading.
