From the first consultation, what stood out for me most was Dr. Karter's incredible attentiveness, kindness and absence of ego — something quite rare in this field. No matter how busy his practice was, Dr. Karter made me feel like he had all the time in the world to answer all of my questions. He never tried to oversell or promise perfection. Instead, he set honest, realistic expectations and emphasized natural results. That honesty gave me so much peace of mind. Once I decided to move forward, he shared his direct contact information and personally checked in after my procedure. His team is wonderful, too. Erin, his assistant, was my main contact — endlessly patient, responsive, and reassuring. And Sarina, who coordinates scheduling and non-surgical treatments, was always kind and accommodating. Together, they made the whole process smooth and human. I’ve had both surgical and non-surgical procedures, including rhinoplasty, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. A Fabulous Experience! I have been seeing Dr Karter for a few years now. I initially went to him to get fillers and was very impressed by his expertise as well as his manner. I was really nervous about getting them and he was nothing but patient and kind. I remember sitting in the examining room talking with him on the day I was going to get them and I was expressing my angst and kind of jokingly said what if I just got up and walked out? And he said that's fine! Whatever you want to do! There was absolutely no pressure, which of course, then made me feel much more comfortable about it. And I was really pleased with the results. Fast-forward a few years later, and there were other things that I was not happy about with the aging process that could not be fixed with fillers. I had so many mixed feelings about getting a facelift, but ultimately, I knew it was going to make me happy and (reluctantly... purely out of fear!) I wanted to proceed with it! This was supposed to happen a year ago, but my partner had a medical event that forced me to postpone my procedure so that I could help him out. Again, Dr Karter and Erin (I'll get back to her in a minute!) were completely understanding and kind. They refunded my money, but I told them to please keep my deposit because I fully intended on coming back!! Fast forward again...now a year later... And I just had my facelift two weeks ago! Even though I am still somewhat swollen, I could not be more pleased with the results. I'm so excited! I have had a bit of a hiccup with some drainage issues, but Dr Karter has seen me as many times as I need to see him to get it straightened out and he is always kind, caring, and utterly patient! In fact, my partner, commented about his patience as well! I do think my partner thought I was asking too many questions, but Dr Karter never made me feel that way at all! From start to finish, he has been so lovely and helpful and his expertise is without compare. Now let me get to Erin! Talk about patient! I have inundated that poor woman with all sorts of questions throughout the weeks before my procedure... Well, let's be honest... Both this year and last! Mostly about what kind of foods that I can have while I'm on a bland diet. Every time I texted her with another question, not only did she answer it promptly, but she always did so with a sense of humor! She did so much to put my mind at ease about everything! All of this is to say that I cannot recommend Dr Karter highly enough! Not only am I so pleased with the results, but I'm just so appreciative of how kind and caring he has been along the way!
