Amazing Experience and Results with Dr. Karter! Dr. Karter literally gave me MY LIFE BACK!!! My primary rhinoplasty left me depressed and isolated for almost two years. My nose too short for my face, tip over projected, I was left with no columella, completed retracted and scarring. I decided to consult with Dr. Karter after a friend recommended him. I called his office and spoke with his Patient Coordinator Erin. She was an absolute sweetheart! I was explaining my horrible experience with my first surgeon and was bawling my eyes out. Erin was so kind and patient. She took the time to console me, so I felt comfortable moving forward with scheduling the consult. March 9, 2023, I met with Dr. Karter and Erin. Once again, I was bawling my eyes when telling my story. Dr. Karter was so professional and knowledgeable as well as very friendly and personable! He was so detailed on how he would go about fixing my nose. He provided several options. Even drew a diagram! I felt very comfortable and confident he would be on the top of my list of surgeons to do my revision. The fact is, I consulted with other surgeons and every time I walked out of their office, Dr. Karter was still number 1 on my list. After every consult with these other surgeons, I would have additional questions for Dr. Karter, and he had no issues meeting with me multiple times. My appointments were never rushed, he listened and answered all my questions every time we met. After a few months, I decided Dr. Karter was the right surgeon for me! I had my revision on January 11, 2024 and I am SO HAPPY with my results! Even with the cast on, I could see the improvements. He did exactly what I asked for! I had swelling and bruising which was expected but no pain. Dr. Karter called me a few hours after my surgery to check on me and gave me his number so I can reach him anytime. Which was so important because even though I trust Dr. Karter, my primary surgery left me traumatized and paranoid. It was truly nice to be able to reach him directly with any questions or concerns. I saw him again the day after surgery which made me feel even more at ease. The day of cast removal, Dr. Karter was about to hand me the mirror but paused and said now remember there is a lot of swelling. Which I already knew because I have thick skin, and this was a revision and he reminded me several times. LOL Anyway, I looked in the mirror and saw the old me (before primary) but a better version. I cried of total joy and could not thank him enough. Dr. Karter listened! Because of him, I am no longer hiding from family and friends! My confidence is back! I look forward for all swelling to subside and see my final results. In my opinion Dr. Karter is an extremely talented and a skilled doctor who truly cares about his patients! I have and could not recommend him enough! Once again, THANK YOU DR. NICHOLAS KARTER! P.S. When searching for a surgeon, beware of ones calling you to ask whether you decided to go ahead with the surgery and offering cash pricing. Some of the red flags I ignored with my primary surgeon and it's something Dr. Karter's office did not do.
From the first minute I walked into Dr. Karter’s office, I was impressed with the immaculate, cheerful space and his welcoming staff. I originally went with a friend to offer moral support for her procedure so it wasn’t my plan to have anything done to my face. Until I heard Erin’s patient and detailed explanation of my friend’s blepharoplasty! Erin’s impressive presentation inspired me to consider my own procedure. I decided that Dr. Karter was the one who could help me achieve my goals. When I went for my own consultation, Erin not only educated me in every aspect of my procedure, she encouraged me to ask as many questions as I needed to as often as I needed. That was reassuring. My first consultation with Dr. Karter was for an upper and lower blepharoplasty. He offered suggestions and guided me through the process step by step. After a few days, I realized that I would be much happier with a face lift as well. So I had a second consult with Dr. Karter when he thoroughly mapped out the surgery plan and again gave me a detailed explanation of his technique and why he does what he does. He has a caring and kind personality and put me completely at ease. I felt that he was the perfect physician for the job. Erin and Dr. Karter both explained that they would be available any time I had questions or concerns. I was anxious about that but they were absolutely true to their word. I had only to send a text to Erin and any time I did, she promptly returned my text or called me. Dr. Karter was there every step of the way for me and I couldn’t have asked for better patient care. It was beyond impressive. I’m two months post-op and couldn’t be more thrilled with my results. I’ve received many compliments but the best ones were when people tell me I look just like myself but better. That’s the mark of an excellent plastic surgeon and Dr. Karter certainly is that. I’m truly grateful for his expertise and care.

I highly recommend Dr. Karter if you are considering cosmetic surgery. Dr. Karter thoroughly explains treatment options, expected outcomes, procedure steps and recovery expectations. He is a skilled surgeon who delivered a great result for my eyelid procedure. He is transparent and approaches patient care with understanding and kindness. Patient care coordinator, Erin, was amazing through the entire process as well. The entire office team is excellent and the office environment is very relaxing. You will be in the best care possible if you work with Dr. Karter!

Dr Karter and Erin!! I couldn’t be happier with my experience! They are so kind and easy to talk with. They were professional and patient with all of my questions. They provided me with all of the information and products that I would need post surgery. I knew after my initial consultation that this was the doctor for me!

I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Karter. He was such a great listener and really made sure to answer all of my questions about my procedure. Nothing was a surprise and him and Erin made sure to provide me with all information and everything I needed for after my surgery, including their personal phone numbers. It is so clear that they really care about their patients and my results are something I could have only dreamed of. My experience with Dr. Karter and Erin exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail from start to finish was fabulous. I had one small skin complication (due to my fair skin) post surgery which doctor Dr Karter is correcting free of charge. I will continue to use them going forward for my beauty needs!
